One of the fun things about going to CHA is getting to meet Craft Rock Stars and getting a photo with them. I mean, it’s not the only reason to go but it’s certainly one of the perks.
I got to finally meet Mark Montano and received a signed copy of his newest book “Big Ass Book of BLING” which I will be reviewing soon.
I’m crazy about Jonathan Fong of Style with a Smile. He is one of those people I consider to be FEARLESSLY CREATIVE.
And fearlessly creative is something I truly admire.
I got “hammered” in the Impress Art booth with the fabulous Margot Potter and made a ROCK star charm.
Jenny and I got a chance to visit with Sandi Genovese in the Anna Griffin booth.
I’ve been a fan of Sandi for a long time and it was great to meet her in person.
I’m not used to taking photos of myself with my phone so this one of me and The Crafty Chica isn’t so great but I LOVE it!!
I also received a hand painted mug from Cathy that I ADORE.
And I FINALLY got to meet lettering artist Lindsay Ostrom. We’ve been hanging out in some of the same places online for ages but I finally got to meet her in person.
I’m not sure what I’m looking at here.
Note to self: Take more self photos so I can get better pictures at the next CHA with my favorite crafty rock stars.
I always love a quick visit with Claudine Hellmuth. Not only is she amazingly talented and nice but we also share a birthday.
I had a fun convo with Jenn Mason of Cloth Paper Scissors Magazine where we shared some of our favorite finds from the show.
Needless to say, after our visit I had a much longer list of companies I needed to visit before the show ended.
No show is complete without a “Steve Sandwhich” photo. Not only are Cathie and Steve super talented but they are also good peeps. They have 17 new products coming out this Spring and you can see more about those releases on their website Cathie & Steve.
I love getting to meet and chat with some of my favorite crafting celebrities. I always come away inspired and energized.
I saw more people but either it was a peek from afar or I didn’t think to take a photo. I’ve come to realize that I really need to carry my phone around in my hand in order to remember to take more photos as the day unfolds.
Otherwise I get caught up in amazing people and sparkly craft supplies and I forget to take pictures.
Who would you get your photo taken with if you went to CHA?
