Clear Glass Panoramic Ornament for Christmas

I’m not sure what else to call these Christmas ornaments besides “panoramic”. They remind me of the school projects where kids have to design a panorama based on a theme or school subject. They aren’t just glass ornaments because they have that hole in the front. What would YOU call them?

Anyway, I’ve been having a TON of fun lately decorating inside them. Soooo many possibilities!

In this one I spooned in some Aleene’s Glitter Snow, a miniature sled ornament, a miniature snowman ornament and a teeny tiny pine tree. Set it aside to dry over night and it’s all done.

Isnt’ this melting snowman too stinkin’ cute?

I spooned in a blob of Aleene’s Glitter Snow and then I folded the scarf (I found the scarf and hat in the miniature tree decorations) on top of the blob. I spooned another blob of glitter snow on top of that for a head, added black flat back eyes and a resin carrot nose and the hat on top of it all.

This ornament takes a few days to throughly dry because there is lots more glitter snow but I just adore this little guy.

I created this one for my nature loving side.

I simply hot glued a bit of moss in the bottom and added a nest and mushroom bird. Super easy!

I have to have a little sparkle too, you know that about me by now don’t you? 🙂

I found miniature ornaments, a glittery floral pick, a mushroom bird and a bright pink chenille stem and hot glued them all inside the ornament. It was hard to get a good photo of this one because of all of the sparkles. In person it’s amazingly sparkly.

I have to say that I really like this ornament. There are sooo many things to do with them. I know that Pat Catan’s carries them but I don’t know about the bigger chains. Have you seen them where you shop?

      Hi Susan,

I went looking for them this season and can’t find them again. They were very thin and fragile and I think they broke very easily in shipping making distributors not want to stock them. I’ll keep my eyes open for them though.
