Toolbox Tuesday: Fabri-Tac from Beacon Adhesives
In my last post Valentine’s Pillows I listed Fabri-Tac from Beacon Adhesives as an option for those who don’t sew. I thought I’d take a little time today to introduce you to Fabri-Tac. I use it quite often and I think that once you see how easy it is to use that you’ll love it too!

Fabri-Tac is permanent, it grabs fast, dries quick and can be washed over and over, it is clear and kind of thick.

To use the bottle, either push a paper clip down into the center of the tip or cut the tip off to cover larger areas. I usually decant the Fabri-Tac into a smaller bottle with a finer tip. The small tip reduces the flow and allows for more precise placement and it’s much easier to hold if you are doing a lot of gluing.

The glue is very clear. The line on the right is dry and the line on the left is wet.

Even when gluing a large area the fabric is flexible when the glue dries.

The only thing that Fabri-Tac won’t glue are patches. The shiny coating on the back of the patch prevents the glue from adhering.

So there you have it! A great glue for many fabric crafts!
