Final Video Post in My Going Grey Adventure

Well, here it is, thirteen months and 18 days into my going grey adventure and I finally have 100% natural hair color.

It probably wouldn’t have taken quite so long except that I was growing out the length at the same time I was growing out the color. But I made it!

If you’ve missed the videos of the process you can see them on my YouTube Channel.

I hope that if you’ve been sitting on the fence about your hair color that my journey will help you  – whether you continue to color or decide to go grey – just go on being the most fabulous YOU that you can be.

I want to thank everyone who offered words of wisdom and support. It was wonderful to have so many loving women in my corner through this process.

Thank you so much!

I found your series of videos on YouTube as I am in the early stages of going silver. Your hair looks fabulous, so healthy and shiny and suits you. I get very encouraged to stick with it when I see such success.
    Thanks!

Yay! Carole. I’m happy to hear that you are going silver too. It’s nice to have friends who are in the same boat when you try something new isn’t it? Let me know if you need a cheerleader!

It looks great Vicki and I love the new cut. Without all that hair coloring you will have even more time to be creative. Gray is beautiful and so are you.

I LOVE,LOVE it…I also have grown mine out, I am at 13 months. Isn’t it great not to have to color anymore? I have gone so natural and love the extra time I have now that I don’t do color anymore.
Thanks for sharing your journey sweetie you are stunning

    It looks great!
I’ve been letting mine go grey too!
How do you get it so shiny? Mine looks so dull now.
I do love NOT having to be a slave color anymore.

Sherry, I know how you feel. I was so tired of coloring. Because it’s sooooo grey I had to color every four weeks and even then that didn’t seem often enough sometimes.
To keep my hair really white and shiny I used a violet colored shampoo for grey/blonde hair. I show it in one of the earlier videos. I hope that helps! 🙂
