Halloween Decor - Spooky Shutter Photo Frame

Here is a Halloween themed frame I came up with for some commission work. I have the okey dokey to share it with you… so I will! 🙂

The shutters are made from a balsa wood plaque that I cut in half.  Balsa wood is really soft and I scored it several times with an x-acto knife to cut it.  I painted them black and then dry brushed a couple of shades of gray and dark gray over top.

I used a piece of wood fence,  tree and witch rub-ons, the moon a sticker and the pumpkin is a fancy brad covered in fabric.  The spiders inside the photo area is actually the back of the paper used on the frame.
