Those of you who are into beads, chain, and all of the other goodies that are a part of jewelry making are going to understand how much fun my recent trip to Florida was. I wrote about it in this post- Bead Love and the Cousin Creative Circle Retreat. And then those of you who have had it up to your eyeballs are going to hate me for getting to go sit in the warm sunshine a while.
But to make everyone feel better I thought I’d share some of the goodies I received recently from my little “shopping” spree on the last day of the retreat and then I pulled together a few items that I think YOU might like to have so I can share with you.
I know, it’s not the same as a trip to Florida but I do what I can for my peeps.
It’s funny to be set loose in a warehouse with several other jewelry designers. You might think that everyone would be falling all over trying to grab the same stuff but Cousin did a great job of choosing designers with a wide variety of styles and tastes so that it was all very civil. For the most part. 😉
The first thing I went for were the jewelry making supplies that aren’t necessarily in my budget – the sterling and gold.
Besides, I knew that the little boxes would stack nicely inside my “if it fits it ships” box leaving me room for plenty more.
After the sterling and gold I went for chain. You know what a pain it can be to find chain to design with!
And finally, I made my way around to pendants, charms and beads to fill up my box.
And here is what I pulled out of that crazy mess to share. I think this collection has a fun Boho vibe for spring/summer jewelry making. Don’t you?
