Ohio State Fair Pig Earrings

Ohio State Fair, Pigs, earrings

Yup, that’s what I said. Pig EARRINGS.

My neighbors two girls are big into 4-H (only they raise goats… not pigs) and this past week was the Summit County Fair. Both girls did well in their individual events and are off to the Ohio State Fair later this week. So I thought I’d make them some unique earrings to wear to the fair. (I rhymed) 🙂

You can make some too!

  • All you need are two teeny tiny plastic pigs- or hey, if you can pull off big pigs, go for it!
  • A small drill bit
  • 2 headpins
  • 2 eye pins
  • 2 earring wires
  • Beads of your choice

Carefully drill a hole down through the pig and put a headpin up through his middle. Don’t worry, he won’t feel a thing.

Create a simple loop in the head pin.

Add a few beads to the eye pin. You can choose your favorite colors, 4-H group colors, school colors or whatever!

Create a loop on the top of the eye pin and then connect them all together as shown.

You can have have a pair for the whole group in no time! Seriously. Once the holes are drilled they take no time at all to make.

Pig earrings for everyone!
