Warren and I decided earlier this week that we needed more field trips.
Nothing expensive or even very time consuming. Just something to replenish our creativity and to have fun together.
On Thursday we went to a friends art show at Kent State University.
Then on Saturday we went to visit another friend who opened her own gallery after I got home from my silver smithing class.
We took a nice walk at Allerdale (part of the Medina County Parks)
We decided to take the long way home and stopped to watch some Great Blue Herons build their nests.
I wanted to capture one of them in flight – from the side they look so pre-historic – but this is all I got. You can hear them in between the whoosing sound of the cars going by.
The best part is that except for gas and the cost of a small piece of pottery from our friends’ gallery – all of this inspiration was FREE!
I adore free, don’t you?
What are some free ways you boost your creativity and have some fun?
