Porcelain Ornament

December 8, 2009

Instead of a bunch of How-To posts I thought I’d post some simple ideas to maybe give you ideas for Christmas…if you are still working on it. Like I am. 🙂

A porcelain ornament, colored in with Sharpie® paint markers. Let dry. Paint Aleene’s Quick Dry Tacky Glue where the frosting is and then cover in Diamond Dust.

I see lots of these plain porcelain ornaments in the craft stores.  You can use the paint markers or alcohol inks to color them and I always replace the gold thread with a bit of ribbon.  Don’t be afraid to use, glitter, sequins or gems on them.  This is a great craft for children.
