Thrifting Thursday - Refurbished Lamp Shade

This is another one of those times where I wondered “what if”.

What if I tore a ratty little lampshade apart and tried to make it not so ratty?

I scoured my studio and this is what I came up with…

Ratty old lampshade.

Bare naked lamp shade.

I spray painted the wire with white Krylon spray paint and let dry.

And then set about gluing pearls around the bottom of the frame with my trusty hot glue gun.

I wrapped the perals round and round gluing here and there to secure them in place.

For a little extra frill, I glued silk flowers around the top and bottom.

What do you think?
