Flip Pal Mobile Scanner and a Generations Photo Album

Back in November I created this Generations album for Crafts Unleashed. You can get the supply list and instructions here; Generations Family Album.

I was inspired by a box of photos I’d been given this summer from my father’s side of the family. I know who some of the people in the photos are… but not nearly enough. And there is no one left to ask. So do yourself a favor and have your grandparents, aunts and uncles identify as many people as they can in your family photos. You’ll be glad you did.

Today I wanted to share some of the photos I used in the album and tell you how I got them ready for use.

This photo, I’m guessing, is from a family reunion. The female on the far left is Melissa Jarvis and the male on the far right is Nathan Jarvis. My grandmother is in the center holding a small girl. I don’t believe the girl she is holding is my aunt only because she married a little later in life and she looks quite young here. (See what I mean about finding out about all of this stuff when you can?)

My parents on their wedding day. Harvey Douglas O’Dell and Joyce Ann Riley – April 1965.

My father’s mother- Dixie Jarvis O’Dell.

I believe this is Nathan and Melissa Jarvis again (my grandmother’s parents) but I’m not 100% sure. I have no idea who the gentleman standing is.

I never would have gotten this album together and looking so great if it hadn’t been for my Flip-Pal™ Mobile Scanner. It’s ready to use right from the box and very intuitive. I love that you can take it with you – just in case Great Aunt Mable isn’t willing to let you take off with the family photos…not even for a minute!

I only wish it had a DC adapter so I could plug it into the wall because it can go through batteries pretty quick if you are scanning entire albums – so remember to pack plenty of batteries OR Flip-Pal™ also sells rechargeable batteries and a battery charger.

I like the Flip-Pal™ so much that I even signed on as an affiliate. If you are thinking of purchasing a Flip-Pal™ Mobile Scanner I hope you’ll click on the image below and use my affiliate link.

OH! And I’ll be giving away a Flip-Pal Mobile Scanner in February… so stay tuned! 🙂
