Valentine's Day Card Making - An Open Heart Layered Card

I’m going to change the name of this to “Easiest Card Ever Made!” I think.

Supplies:

Matstack or coordinating Cardstock in 3 different styles

Stick on Gems

Marvy Uchida heart shaped paper punch or heart shaped paper punch of your choice

I cut the blue leafy background paper to 6 1/2 inches by 4 1/2 inches. Tape it down.

Then the top layer of paper is 3 3/4 inches by 5 5/8 inches. Punch the heart shape out of the lower left corner of this piece.

I chose an orange contrasting paper for the center of the heart.  That piece of paper is a bit smaller than the top layer.

Place the contrasting paper under the top piece and tape those two together.  Tape those two pieces to the background piece and then add coordinating stick on gems to the lower right hand corner.

This could easily be turned into a card for a man by using more masculine papers and brads instead of gems.
