Warren and I went down to Yankee Peddler on Sunday. It’s a craft show that has been going on for years and years. A friend of mine who goes said he’s been going for 22 years! It’s not exactly my cup of tea but I like to go anyway. It’s way too primative for me. Both the location and the general type of crafts sold. But like I said, I like to go anyway. I just like to see what people are doing. Maybe I’m not creative at all… just nosey!
All of the vendors have booths out in the middle of the woods. It was really nice the day we went but the weekend before (the show runs for three consecutive weekends) we had a humongous storm and vendors said trees were falling down around them. Crazy! We still have lines down on our street but Thank Goddess that the power never went out…. anyway…
I’m a people watcher too. Maybe that’s another reason why I like going to different craft shows?
Never let my husband tell you that I drag him to craft shows and make him wait around. I was the one who waited on him AND he spent several minutes asking this vendor questions. I have to admit though that this vendor made the most amazing tin soldiers. Some of them teeny tiny. You can see them in the bottom of the picture!
