There is something about these giant clothes pins that makes them too fun to pass up.
The one on the left is painted white.
I always take the clothes pins apart to sand and paint them. Of course, it always takes me a few tries to put them back together again but taking them apart to paint makes the finished product look so much nicer.
See? No paint on the spring. 🙂
Cut a piece of scrapbook paper to size. Just a teeny tiny bit smaller than the front of the clothespin and adhere it with your favorite adhesive. Then embellish.
I simply glued a castle cut out that was already painted to the top. You can’t get any easier than THAT!
What a perfect way to display birthday cards, photos, notes, quotes, party favors or whatever. Just by changing the paper and embellishments you can make one for any season… or any reason.
Try tying one on to the top of a package and having the clothes pin hold the card. A gift wrap “bow” that’s a little different.
