How could I pass up some sunflowers and apples to craft up a pretty (and useful) fall decoration? I couldn’t.
I sprayed the Krafty Blok with Rust-Oleum’s Frosted Glass spray front, back and sides. Let it dry. It doesn’t take very long.
Just in case you are one of those impatient people. Hehe.
Then I put the Vinyl Words on the front after it was COMPLETELY dry.
I found two apple and sunflower floral picks and put them end to end and taped them together with floral tape. I then wired a bow into the middle.
I adhered this “corsage” of sunflowers, apple and ribbon to the top of the Krafty Blok with floral cling.
And last, but not least, I placed a light inside and put it on Krafty Blok Wire Stand.
Ta Da!

Looks great! Do you spray the frost lightly? Any issues with runs or getting it uneven?
Hi Jenna,
I do spray it on lightly and add more light coats as needed. It will not run if you spray light coats.
I hope that helps.

Have you noticed that the frost spray scratches? I’m trying to decide whether or not to spray mine.
It can scratch but it’s not very easy Kristen. The good thing is that these types of projects aren’t handled very much so there isn’t so much risk of it being scratched off. I hope that helps.
How do you keep the light from sliding mine won’t fit with stopper but it slides all around and falls over
Hi Melissa,
If you get the right kind of light it has a silver clip that you squeeze, insert partway into the opening and then let go of to keep the light in place. Let me see if I can find you a link.
