I LOVE Iris Paper Folding! The design looks much more difficult than it actually is, it's a wonderful way to use up scraps of paper left over from other projects and it's relaxing too. I found out last week that a dear friend of mine has cancer and I wanted to make a special card to send to her just to let her know that I'm thinking about her. I found the pattern for the heart shaped card and in the back of my book I found one of the Christmas cards I made last year. I took a few pictures to share with you. My Library has the book that I have "Iris Folding Compendium" and another one that I haven't seen before "460 Iris Folded Cards to Make : The Complete Iris Folding Compendium" both of them by Maruscha Gaasenbeek. There are also several sites online that offer patterns.
I have another pattern for a Maple Leaf and have decided that I will teach a class on September 8th.
