Leaf Chain Copper and Coral Earrings

I found this really great leaf chain recently at a local bead shop.

I had KNOW IDEA what I was going to do with it but I knew I needed to have some.

(ahem*hoarder*ahem)

So I asked for 6 inches of it and then put it in my pile of chain and other jewelry making goodies here in the studio.

It sat there for about two weeks before inspiration struck.

Coral is kind of my “it” color this spring and I’ve acquired two new coral colored tops but I have no jewelry to go with them.

Until now.

To make your own you’ll need:

  • 20 coral bicones – Swarovski
  • 2 6mm faceted beads – Swarovski
  • 2 earring wires
  • Basic Jewelry Making Tools
  • 22 copper headpins
  • Leaf Chain – I found some at Rings & Things

Here’s how:

Cut the chain to the desired length and attach the bicones with simple loops.

Attach the 6mm faceted bead to the bottom loop of the chain.

Add the earring wires.

That’s it! All there is to it.
