I know that if you look at this stuff it looks like I bought for two different households but I didn’t. 🙂
The big pile of sheer pink stuff is two window scarves, you know they drape across a curtain rod and then go to the floor? BUT they would also make a great mosquito net out under the apple tree. Yeah, I know. You wish you’d thought of it!
The lace doilies. I’m thinking of using them to decorate a t-shirt. Maybe I’ll even get to that today. You never know.
That frame was too darn cool to pass up. Not sure what I’m going to do with it yet.
My favorite part of this whole haul is the black, red and white afghan. It’s HAND MADE and I only spent $6.00 on it. It’s so soft and snuggly. Perfection!! I already washed it and it’s draped over the back of the love seat in the living room. SCORE!!
What was the coolest thing you found for cheap this summer? Do you have a photo?
I have a house only a couple of hours from Philly. I’ll have to get information from you on your Super Thrift Store and see if I can get there next time I’m in town. Sounds like a great place! 🙂
I live in Philadelphia and finally had a chance to go to the Super Thrift Store I have been hearing so much about. Starting over at the glasswares section I found this beautiful white wire basket for only $2.00 and 4 colorful votice holders for $1.00.
Man the store was great but could not discover what other treasures they had cause only had a hour.
Sorry I do not have photos yet but will try and post them when I can at my blog.
