Jacquard Products recently sent me the most delicious new paints that I had to share with you.
While I haven’t posted about it much I’ve been doing quite a bit of experimenting with all sorts of mixed media products and processes so I am super excited to have Lumiere 3D Dimensional Metallic Paint & Adhesive in my arsenal.
All of the paints have a metallic or “pearl” sheen to them. No flat colors from Jacquard.
One of the really fun points about this product is that it can also be used an an adhesive. In the photo above I’ve used it to adhere round, pink sequins and green leaf sequins to my piece. The pink dots on the bird and dot flowers are also Lumiere 3D paint.
I even “blinged” out some clothes pins that I painted with Jacquard Dye-Na-Flow just for fun!
Lumiere 3D can be used straight from the bottle or by using the fine tip like I did on these projects. Used as an adhesive it’ll hold all sorts of beads and other embellishments onto your substrate plus it’s washable after 72 hours.
The ONLY thing I wish were different were that it was “self rounding” so that my little dots of paint didn’t have that pointy tip on them. Other than that, I’m madly in love and you’ll be seeing more projects with Lumiere 3D Dimensional Metallic Paint & Adhesive.
