Honey Crafting

I’ve done some research this summer on honey and honey bees because there is a little part of me that would like to take up bee keeping. I know it’s probably more work than I have time for but the research has been interesting all the same.

Take this book for example. It highlights projects that use both honey and bees wax. After all, there is much more to do with keeping bees than just putting honey in my tea.

I loved the projects in the book and will definitely be making some of the beeswax ornaments as “add ons” to my gift giving and I’m pretty sure that some of the Spiced Mixed Nuts will be made up into gifts as well.

A good book to have on hand for those of us who love honey. The taste, scent and medicinal uses.

Hats off to anyone who starts beekeeping. With honey bees dying at an alarming rate, they need our help!

I totally agree. There is something about bees, the hive and their buzzing that seems so magical to me.
It sounds silly but I would love to be around a bit of that magic every day.
      Plus I love honey! 🙂
