I’ve been thinking for a while now that I want to make more videos but the way we had things set up here it was a MAJOR production.
We’ve finally set up a little “studio space” in my basement studio and I’m determined to start making more video tutorials. In fact, my goal is to make one a week. It will take me a while to get used to the new camera set up but I finally made a new video to share with you.
Of course, my first one had to be all about jewelry making!
I’m including the tutorial below too. Just because I’m cool like that!
What you’ll need:
- Beadalon Memory Wire
- Memory Wire Cutters
- Round Nose Pliers
- Flat Nose Pliers
- Beads
- Earring Wire
Cut one round of memory wire as shown in the photo above.
Turn one end of them memory wire down with round nose pliers as shown.
Add beads.
Turn the second end of the memory wire at a 90 degree angle to the memory wire and join the two loops. (This is easier to see in the video)
Add the earring wire.
I just found you site following links so don’t ask how or where but know this… I LOVE YOUR SITE!… I am an old ‘Victorian Goth’ and love that you make jewellery with such things as the Goddess charm, etc etc etc. This is a fabulous site and at the age of 61 I am getting back into crafting and you are truly an inspiration to us all. Thank you.
Hi Charlene!
I’m so glad you found me. 🙂
I love hearing that you are getting back to crafting. I hope you will share some of your creations with me.

Is it just my eyes, or is the end of the wire looped down in the video and looped up in the finished photo? Does it matter which way you do it? Beautiful either way!
Hi Jeannean, thanks for your question. It doesn’t really matter. Just make sure one loop goes side to side and the other goes either up or down so that they connect and lay flush.
Wonderful video. The jewelry is surprisingly easy to make but I wouldn’t have thought about it had I not seen the video. Thanks a lot for sharing this. I will be following your blogs as I look forward to many great videos.
Thanks a bunch, Anna. Your compliment means a lot to me. 🙂
Cute project and great video tut! Thanks for sharing!
Thank you, Tammie. Stick around, I just came up with what I think it is a GREAT project to shoot in the next week or two. 🙂
