My Thrift Store Haul #5

May 5, 2011

I’ve been trying to be more picky about what I bring home from the thrift stores.

You’re probably looking at this photo and thinking, “oh, really”.

But I’ve been wanting a Victorian Doll House for a while now but they are SO DARN EXPENSIVE. You know me, I won’t make it a “proper” Victorian Doll House. Mine will have to be, well, MINE.

And there is a corner of my brain wondering if it will sit (nailed, of course) on top of that baluster and make a really cool piece for my studio. It’s pretty tall and thin though so it may have to become part of something else.

I paid $16.00 for the doll house and $3.50 for the baluster. Cheap entertainment, err I mean supplies! 🙂
