If you’re really into your crafts you’ll probably need hole punching tools for metal. It really doesn’t matter what kind of crafting you do. Eventually, you might want to add some kind of metal embellishment to your work and might mean punching a hole in it.
I remember when the Crop-a-Dile first came out and I found out it would punch through metal. I was so excited!
I started punching holes in TONS of things. Tin pails, aluminum shapes, rusted tin…
And paper too.
And then of course the BIG BITE came out and I could punch holes much farther into a project. The center of a 12″ x 12″ piece of paper or WAY into one of those metal barn stars.
(Are big metal stars popular where you are too?)
But I’ve been doing a lot more jewelry making and even the smallest hole in the Crop-a-Dile is too big for metal blanks to be stamped and turned into jewelry.
So I found this two hole metal punch to use in stead. It also punches two sizes of holes.
The two hole punch is kind of like a jewelry supply companies’ business card. They are basically all around the same price but I’ve noticed that they all come stamped on the side with the logo and name of the company you buy it from.
A very useful business card.
So there you have it, two easy to use tools that allow you to punch nice, little, round holes in metal.
Stay tuned because tomorrow I’ll show you something I made with one of these fun tools. 🙂
