My friend Jenny from CraftTestDummies gave/loaned me this fabulous Inkadinkadoo stamp the last time I was at CTDWHQ (That’s Craft Test Dummies World Headquarters. hehe) because I thought it was FABULOUS.
Today I am minding my own business, working on some jewelry designs when I spy the stamp out of the corner of my eye and my brain fired off two words. “SAND PAPER”. So I quite literally pushed all of my jewelry making stuff to one side and started stamping…On sand paper. You have to listen when your brain shouts at you like that you know. ;0)
Here is a photo of the pile of supplies I grabbed.
Cuttlebug
Cuttlebug embossing folder – D’vine Swirl
Coredinations Cardstock Super Assortment – So Mod!
Spellbinders Mega Nestabilities – Curved Rectangles
StazOn – Timber Brown
GlueGlider Pro
Sand Paper -220 grit
Dymo Label Maker

I chose the light blue card stock and the D’vine Swirls because I thought they looked like waves. I embossed the Core’dinations card stock and sanded.
Then I centered the Curved Rectangle Die over the embossed area and put it through the Cuttlebug again.
I adhered the sandpaper with stamped image inside the frame with my trusty Glue Glider Pro and then adhered the whole thing to the front of a blank card.
Then I created the “Dads Castle” sentiment with the Dymo Label maker. You can see a video about how to do this on the Core’dinations YouTube channel “Label It“.
How’s that for a fun homemade Father’s Day card?
Now back to the jewelry making. 🙂
This is awesome! Thanks so much for sharing your Core Creations, we love seeing them!!!
