I don’t know about you but I get a little bit anxious before I travel. I’m not even sure why, but I find myself the day before a trip getting very antsy and anxious. Before my Boston trip last week I decided I needed to try out a new idea for a ring. And it kept me busy for a little while. Enough so that I felt calmer for a bit anyway.
I love this sterling silver with the African Trade Beads. It was just a tiny bit of silver I had left over from Bead Fest (◄ Post with haul video) but I love the way it turned out. Now I need more silver because I want a stack of them.
I’ve been staying away from the computer most of the time on the weekends and it’s always kind of fun to see what is in my blog feed, email and other feeds on Monday morning.
Like this recipe for Butternut Squash Mac and Cheese from The Pioneer Woman. Oh me, oh my, and I just happen to have 5 or 6 little butternut squash on the kitchen counter from the garden.
If you are looking for Halloween crafts I’ve got several listed on the site that you can find here.
But isn’t this the most creative costume you’ve seen in like, FOREVER? Cereal bowl costume. Yup, cereal bowl. Trust me, you’ve got to see this one!
Totally unrelated but super cool is this French Museum with Realistic Movie Sets. It makes my little miniature lovin’ heart go pitter-pat.
And just to get your brain thinking in the holiday direction – I’m loving this list of 100 Frugal Ways to Enjoy the Holidays.
You know, because my 50th birthday is the week before Christmas and I want my family to save money so we can have a blow-out kind of party. Kidding! (Sort of)
Have you found anything really good on the interwebs lately?
I’m glad for your adventures and the joy that comes through your posts.
I’m wondering if you would make, or suggest a tutorial on how, you made your bead ring? I love I and would love to make one.
I will create a tutorial soon Dorothy. 🙂
