I have a book review up over on Craft Test Dummies today for More Fabric Art Collage by my fellow CHA Designer Rebekah Meier.
I really liked the book and all of the different techniques Rebekah shares in it but you’ll have to read the review here to find out LOTS more.
And as part of my review I made this little yellow rose piece. But what’s a girl to do with a cute little sample like this?
Make a mini book!
With brightly colored plain and floral patterned papers inside.
I know it sounds rather Victorian but I imagine giving this to a young woman or new bride to save floral cards in.
Every time she gets flowers she can put the little card that comes with them in the book to save. Because the cards are small and easy to lose.
Then when she feels like taking a stroll down memory lane she’ll have all of her floral cards in one place.
Or her kids can see their parents’ courtship and love over the years.
I know, it’s sappy… but I get like that sometimes. 🙂
