Each year in November Akron Children’s Hospital hosts the Akron Holiday Tree Festival to raise funds for the hospital. It’s an amazing event that raised $216,00 last year. There are hundreds of volunteers both from the hospital and the community that contribute time, energy and money to this event. We’ve gone the last several years after our Thanksgiving dinner and have found it a great way to kick off the Christmas season. If you’ve never been, make sure to put it on your calendar for 2012.
This post is all about the tree toppers. I wanted to give my readers some ideas for decorating your own trees this season. I actually took so many photos that this will be a two part post.
