I ADORE flowers but I have a mad, mad crush on composite flowers!

Take a plain, paper maché, heart shaped box and turn it into something special in just a couple of hours.

First I painted the entire box pink and let it dry.  Then I cut apart several roses. Following the outline of the box itself make a giant composite flower based on the instructions in that Composite Flower Cubes post. I used hot glue to glue the petals on.  Finally, when you get to the center glue in a rose.  You can put ribbon around the box sides or leave it like it is.

This is definately “keepsake” material.  I can see a woman storing love letters in a box like this.
