“Mom, can you make a Corsage and Boutonniere for Prom?” Followed by, “Vicki, can you make a Corsage and Boutonnier for Prom?”
I have two graduating this year, two going to Sr Prom. Two who want a corsage and boutonniere. (After a little lesson about how to actually SPELL boutonniere.)
It’s a happy AND sad time. They are the youngest. The last time I’ll be asked by my kids to make anything for a HS dance. *sigh*
Let’s see, four kids times Homecoming dance, Winter Formal and Prom. I’ve made a few of these. 🙂
I do LOVE the way a sweet bunch of roses (courtesy of Greenbriar Florist in Tallmadge, OH) can be turned into something wearable.
For Shane and Alex.
For LeAnn and Andy.
And the left overs for me. 🙂
By the way, if you haven’t visited a floral shop lately please take the time to do so. We are losing so many unique shops becasue of the economy. So splurge a bit, won’t you?
