I don’t know about you but a change in seasons has me wanting to add new pieces of clothing to my wardrobe. Lucky for me, I’m shooting a couple of segments for Scrapbook Soup today and that gave me an excuse to go out and buy a few new things! Yay!
Now, that also means adding some new jewelry. But “why buy jewelery when you can make your own” I always say.
Here are several beginner to intermediate projects for you to try.
I won’t have time to make any of them before my shoot but I do plan to make a few of these before the summer is over.
10 Minute Pearl Earring Tutorial from Miss Lovie
Bow Tie Not Optional Necklace from Flamingo Toes
Handmade Ring Tutorial from The Crafty Blog Stalker
Chic Bib Necklace from Craft Test Dummies
Leaf Chain and Coral Earrings
Loft Rings and Pink Beads Necklace from Flamingo Toes
Lucky Clover Washer Necklace
There is a little something there for everyone I’m thinking. All of it is pretty darn easy, if not a bit time consuming, and I don’t think that any of it would break the bank.
I hope you’ll try a couple of these tutorials and let me know how they work out for YOU.
I intend to try your earring tutorial now that I have my 1-step looper, Vicki (only I don’t have that leaf chain so I’ll probably have to create my own!)
Hi Monique,
I picked up the chain at my local bead shop but I’ll bet you can get it in a number of places online. I hope you’ll share a photo of your jewelry when you make it!
Thanks for the tutorials, Vicki. I appreciate your hard work!
Hugs,
Carmen L
Thank you, Carmen. I appreciate your appreciation! Seriously. I’m glad you enjoy the tutorials. Is there anything in particular you’d like to see? I’d love to help if I can. 🙂
