Glass Cylinder and Marble Candle Holders for New Year’s Eve

Glass Cylinder and Marble Hurricanes for New Year's Eve

Remember the New Year’s Even Glasses with Armour Etch post from yesterday? I made some candle holders to go with the glasses and dug out some black and silver ornaments that I had on hand, perfect for a New Year’s Eve Party.

I used E6000 to glue flat back marbles onto the cylinder vases. If you put the first row of marbles on and tape them in place until they dry then you can do the second row and tape it in place until it dries. Otherwise, the marbles will fall off about as fast as you can glue them on.

I love the way the marbles add dimension and a bit of sparkle. Don’t you?  You can use this technique for every day too. Those flat back marbles come in all sorts of colors.

    Vicki,
I absolutely love these glass cylinder and marbled candle holders. I had never even thought about using them for this, but this looks so classy. I usually use the larger glass marbles to make magnets. They are cute as well….but now I can’t wait to start making these as gifts….so affordable since you can get just about everything at the Dollar store…..

Thanks for sharing your crafting ability with me,
    Julie Lynn
