Ok, this is the last post. I promise. For this week anyway! 🙂 I just want to make sure to have photos and basic instructions for the memory frames that will be on television in a couple of days. It’s no fun when you see something on TV and it flashes by too quickly and you didn’t get to see how it was made or what it looked like. Ya know?
In this post the frames are a little more complicated.
The background is covered in a very cute Halloween paper following the basic instructions here. The fence is a wooden fence from the miniatures area of the craft store…you know, where the doll house supplies are. I cut it to size, painted it black and glued it on with hot glue. The circles are pieces of chipboard with coordinating scrapbook paper glued on and then stickers on top. I punched a hole with the crop-a-dile and tied on a bit of ribbon. The spider, “Trick or Treat” and jack-o-lanters are stickers too. You can see another Halloween frame along with this one here.
This fun frame was covered in a denim scrapbook paper. The letters are chipboard and I inked the edges with brown ink. Just dab the ink pad right onto the edge of the letters.
I made the swirls of rope (jute) by beginning a swirl and securing it with a dab of hot glue. I glued as I went. Be careful not to burn your fingers!! The star is from a party store, I sprayed it with a bronze spray paint and, once dry, rubbed in a little AMACO Rub n Buff. I glued it on with hot glue too.
If you have any questions let me know and if you can’t find the frames in your favorite craft store I have them in my ebay store.
