This is a necklace I created for Consumer Crafts last year. I got the go ahead to share the project here on my blog. I’m including all of the item numbers so that (providing the product is still available) you can purchase supplies to make your own.
OR if you don’t want to make one I have a second piece I created in my etsy shop.
Supplies:
JW15NS-0 19 Strand Beadalon – Satin Silver
2 each TW2151 4mm x 36in Turquoise Shell Beads
5 each 1992-31 Shell Discs Brown 12 inch
1992-70 End Cones – Plain silver Plated 1/2 inch
1990-10 18mm Lobster Clasp
199-15 12x15x2 mm Jump Ring Antique Silver
1986-22 Bead Stoppers
1995-14 Set of 3 Precision Pliers
1949-09 Micro Crimp Tool
1858-2 Crimp Beads Silver
1990-30 2 each double jump rings
1990-36 head pins
1970-43 Silver Spacer Beads
How To:
1. Cut 5 lengths of Beadalon wire to 32 inches.
2. Bead as shown. Each strand has 28 Brown Disc beads separate by a Turquoise bead and the end of each strand has 20 Turquoise beads. Make sure to use bead stops to keep your beads from falling off.
3. Add two small silver beads and a crimp bead to the end of each strand, thread the wire through a double jump ring and back through the crimp bead and two silver beads.
4. Crimp the ends. NOTE: work all of the strands on one end of the necklace – either right or left – at once before moving on to the second side.
5. Attach eye pin to double jump ring and put silver end cone over it followed by another silver bead.
6. Attach the Antique Jump Ring to one side of the necklace by using the end of the head pin to make a wrapped loop.
7. Attach the Lobster Clasp to the second side of the necklace by using the end of the head pin to make a wrapped loop.
8. You can either wear the necklace with the strands all lying nice and flat or give the necklace a bit of a twist before putting it around your neck as shown in the next photo.
Earring Supplies:

5 each 1992-31 Shell Discs Brown 12 inch
1995-14 Set of 3 Precision Pliers

2. Using the pliers form a simple loop.
3. Attach to earring wire and close loop.
This is a really great tutorial, I love the colour mix and simplicity. Thank you!
