It won’t be long now. Turkey day is only two weeks away!
This Turkey Treat Holder would be perfect to have on the kids’ table holding crayons or other little items to keep the kids busy while dinner is being prepared. If you have some of the pieces pre-cut for the little ones you could have them make the turkeys while dinner is cooking!
Either way, they are easy, handy and lots of fun!
All you need are:
A small clay pot
Tacky Glue
Foam sheets in various colors
5mm wiggle eyes
Click on the link above and then click on the link in the window that pops up to get the pattern download for FREE.
Simply trace the pattern pieces onto the foam sheets, cut out and glue to the pot.
The kids will have a great time because this goes together fairly easily (low on the frustration scale) and the glue dries clear (my pictures were taken when it was still wet).
Foam sheets easily cut with safety scissors so this is a good craft for all ages. If you have small children you may want to hold on to the wiggle eyes until it’s time to glue them on!
The feet plug up the hole in the bottom nicely so you could put loose or wrapped candy inside or put it in a small bag and then inside the turkey.
I pinned this cute project on pinterest 15 weeks ago…. thought you’d want to know it has over 400 re-pins – with links to your site. I think it is the most re-pinned project I have ever pinned.
Holy heck, Donna, that is a lot of pins!
I just checked the pin count on that particular page and it’s been pinned 1,568 times total.
Thanks for helping me out. You are a gem and I really appreciate you! 🙂
