Usually I have Thursday off from my “day job” but this week I worked. I can’t let a Thursday pass without going to a thrift store, it’s become quite the habit I tell ya, so I stopped at one of my favs on the way home from work.
A couple of weeks ago I had spotted a little table top terrarium. One of those that looks like a little green house. Can you believe I left without it?!?! What a dope! It’s something that I’ve told myself for years that if I spied one I’d have it. I thought about it and thought about it and a couple of days later went back to get it. Guess what? Yup, it was gone. I was so bummed!
So on my visit today was was just wondering around, turned a corner and BOOM…there it was. I was so excited!! I snagged it and finished looking around with it in my hands. I brought it home and cleaned it up in a sink full of warm vinegar water. The glass is very yellow still. I wonder if it’s SUPPOSED to look like that or if I should check into getting new glass? Anyone know?
