As part of our traditional Thanksgiving Day celebrations we go to the Akron Tree Festival. It’s nice to stroll around and see all of the work hundreds of volunteers put into this event.  It’s put on by Children’s Hospital to raise funds for the children treated there. I’ve donated many hours decorating trees for this event but I didn’t do one this year. Yeah, I missed it. I’ll have to see about finding someone to sponsor a tree for next year. 🙂

When I first saw this wreath I thought YUCK! Then as I looked at it a little more I was drawn in. It’s like a vintage ornament I Spy book.

Photos are hard to take because they keep the overhead lights down so people can enjoy the tree lights but I hope you take a minute to appreciate this amazing collection of vintage ornaments. What a great way to display them all in one place!
