I’m home from Bead Fest and somewhat rested. It was my first time going and I had a great time. I learned TONS and got to meet up and chat with some of my creative tribe. It was just what I needed to get me back in my studio creating jewelry!
Above is a haul video I created showing you the things I got in classes and the other ones I purchased. Just in case you have one of those inquiring minds. (Does anyone know what I’m referring to there?)
Here are the beads from Humblebeads that I shared. I just love them and can’t wait to make some jewelry.
This druzy is something awesome. It’s hard to share just how pretty it is on camera but it’s gorgeous and it’s HUGE. I’m not sure if it will be a ring or a pendant at this point but it has to be worn.
And here are all of the little Buddhist charms I picked up. The frog in the lower right corner isn’t a bead and I’m not sure what I’m going to do with it but I liked him too much to leave him behind.
Tomorrow I will share a post with photos of some of the things I saw but didn’t come home with. So much PRETTY! So much inspiration.

Love your haul!!! Its quite inspiring. I’ve always wanted to get into metallurgic work but have so many UFO’s. Maybe this winter (or next winter) I can begin my adventure into working with metals.
Like I mentioned, I have too many UFO’s, so lately I wear blinders when passing craft stores or aisles. *LOL* But my addiction can only hold out for so long… when it becomes too much I’ll scan end-of-aisle sales. I’m always looking for anything Victorian or steampunky, or mystery noir-y.
I’m looking forward to your tutorials on metal works… 🙂
Thanks Pamela,
I’ve bought a few more things since I got home to round out my metal work supplies and finished a couple of projects. They will be on the blog soon!
