It’s been a while since I created a new wreath for the front door.
I use them again and again until I can’t use them any more.
And even then I sometimes take the old one apart scavenging bits and pieces that I can reuse.
But not this time. This time I made a brand spankin’ new wreath and I sat down in front of the video camera to share the how to with you.
I’m still working out the bugs in my video production process here and I’m having fun learning to improve things a little each time. To prove that I don’t take myself too seriously I included a little blooper at the end of this video.
My favorite part of movies is seeing the bloopers at the end. They make me laugh so much, and this one is no exception. I’m such a dufus!
OH! And you can see the video on how to make the bow on my YouTube Channel. It’s my goal to start creating at least two project videos a month so if you subscribe you’ll get a notification as soon as they are uploaded to YouTube.
One more thing… you can get the raffia like I used at Consumer Crafts – Raffia Hank – Natural. It says it’s curly but it’s really not. Wavy maybe but not curly.
That’s it. I’m really finished this time. 🙂
Love your wreath. Simply changing the bow for whatever occasion would make it great for year around. TFS the tutorial!
That’s true Michelle. You could keep it up all year long! 🙂
Trying to figure out what size wreath form you used for your double braided wreath. My 18 inch seems to be too large.
I used a 14 inch wreath form and my raffia was super long. I hope that helps. V
This is a great, great wreath! One of the most unique I’ve seen in a LONG time! Can’t wait to try one.
Yay! I’m glad you like it busykidshappymom. 🙂
Vicki,
Thank you for sharing. The double wreath is as great as the single. I will make good use of this idea.
