I’ve been a fan of Gooseberry Patch for a long- long time. Probably 20 of their 25 years. So I was excited when I was asked to review this book. There are a wide variety of projects to choose from – not just napkins and tea towels like I was imagining- some practical and some not. I love the mug Cozy but the Pancake and Waffle Warmer doesn’t seem very useful at all. I mean, it’s cool to look at but wouldn’t it get food all over it every time it was used? Maybe I’m just being too practical?

The Vintage Doily Runner is one I’ve seen on Pinterest quite a bit lately but there are also fresh, new ideas to be inspired by.

There are lots of cute and homey images and fabrics like you would expect from Gooseberry Patch but if that isn’t your thing projects could easily be made with fabrics YOU love.
