I think I’ve mentioned before that Warren and I are doing the Fall Hiking Spree here in Summit County. Yesterday was the PERFECT morning for a hike. The temperature was moderate, the sun was out and the leaves are still in the early stages of color.There were lots of animals out and about and there was plenty of moving water to listen to. Even though there were several cross country teams practicing it was still pretty peaceful.
We got out on the trail early and hiked nearly 2 miles. We stopped and got a coffee on the way home and then each hit our own corners of the house to get work done.
I bathed the dog and then got down to work on a list of projects that literally fills up a big white board. So much to do and so thankful for the opportunities.
But that hike was the perfect start to the day. A perfect Saturday morning.
