My neighbor came to visit Thursday evening.
And he brought me the most LUSCIOUS basket of fresh off the tree peaches. They are beautiful, juicy, and oh so YUMMY!
I’ve been canning peach jam all weekend. I was going to make several different recipes but I got stuck on the jam. Regular jam and spiced jam. I’m in love! And I got it all down to a science. Which of course I’ll be sharing with you in the next couple of weeks.
Canning brings back such wonderful memories of my childhood. Living on a working farm for some of it, having women all around me who knew how to provide delicious food for their family.
