Garden Update
I’m not sure who coined that phrase “the lazy days of summer” but I’m pretty sure they never had a yard. Or a garden. Or even an old house. There has been NOTHING lazy about my summer.
Floating Macrame Shelf
I dug this old drawer out of the attic, drilled holes in the corners and threaded the cording through. Tied it all in knots underneath and I had a floating shelf for a plant and watering can. I think this might be a great project for a small room – say, a floating shelf nightstand.
Garden Experiments – Strawberries and Potatoes
I want to share a couple of garden experiments I have going. If they turn out, great, we all have something to try. If they don’t, nothing lost but a little time. You can’t beat those kinds of experiments.

4th Burner Pot
A 4th burner pot is specifically designed to fit stoves’ often-underused fourth burner. This pot has a small diameter and will fit on that fourth burner when the entire stove is full and a big pot just won’t squeeze in there. Perfect for big family meals where the stove top is jam packed or for canning day.
