I would say that Warren and I get along wonderfully 98% of the time. Mostly because we are both really good at compromise. There are very few things in our marriage we won’t at least consider changing our minds about. After all, I’m married to him and not my ideas or thoughts, right?
Except the living room. That darn living room. He has always INSISTED that the sofa has to be on THAT wall. No matter how much I wanted to change things up he had it in his mind that the sofa had to be there.
But couldn’t we?
Nope.
Ugh.
But FINALLY. I got him to change his mind.
You see, he decided he wanted a new television. I had mentioned getting one last year when I was resting so much due to radiation treatments but the money just wasn’t in the budget. But it was the TV that finally got him to budge.
Since the new TV would run off our wi-fi there was no cable to chain it to a wall and that left things wide open.
And I went to town changing things up and I will share that with you on Friday.
Is there something around your house that you and your partner can’t agree on? What is it?
My husband has a “thing” about making holes in our walls (we do own our house) so while we have some paintings on walls, we also have some bare walls. I have some work to do 🙂
Thank goodness for Command Performance strips Pam or I’d have holes all over the place!
Besides, they are easy to patch. 🙂
Looks like I’ll be buying us some Command Performance 🙂
