I’ve been slowly working on a little kitchen spruce up. I bought a fun, funky area rug for the middle of the floor, and painted the walls. I found a battered vanity mirror along the curb one night that I put in an unusual spot and now I’m trying to decide on just the right color for the lower cabinets.
Anyone can have the old pink lawn flamingos but all it takes is some imagination and a few cans of spray paint to have Tie Dye Flamingos!

And now to end my trio of mixed media garden art I’ve created a fun and funky version of the eggplant. Last year my eggplants got eaten before they could bear fruit so I’m hoping that that this year turns out better.
Picking up rocks and potatoes, weeding, and biting into a sun warm tomato while I stood right there in the garden. Juice dripping down my chin, sun shining on my head and the aroma of soil and growing things all around. Heaven!
